Fort Resolution
- The Fort Resolution Water treatment system consists of:
- Modified intake system
- New water treatment plant with a packaged water treatment system
- Two underground concrete storage reservoirs
- Truckfill station
- The new system is a packaged Hydromaster Plant that uses coagulation/flocculation, while a separate pump runs a backwash system to clean the filters.
- Raw water is gravity fed into the storage tanks and two submersible pumps transfer it to the treatment system.

|
- Once treated, the water is chlorinated to prevent bacterial growth and is pumped into the storage tanks.
- The two vertical turbine pumps within the tanks are controlled by the water truck driver from switches on the outside of the building. This activates the truckfill arm and the water activates the flow switch for the chlorine system.
- The community has 3 water trucks with 8,000-litre steel tanks.
