K'atlodeeche First Nation
- The water supply for the K'atlodeeche First Nation, or Hay River Reserve, consists of a concrete reservoir under a truckfill station.
- Water is supplied by the town of Hay River water treatment plant, via 150mm HDPE below ground pipe.
- Water is circulated to and from the reservoir at a rate of 20L/min and also a 37.5mm copper pipe containing warm water is re-circulated in order to prevent freezing.
- The reservoir useable volume is 90,000 cubic meters.
- Two submersible pumps, controlled by the water truck driver, transfer water into tanks.
- One water truck with a capacity of 13,640 litres is used for delivery.
- Trouble lights on top of the station indicate any problems with the system.
