Lutsel K’e
  • The Lustel K'e water supply system consists of a water intake system and truckfill station built in 1986.
  • The town draws its water from Christie Bay, Great Slave Lake.
  • Two inclined shafts with submersible pumps are used. Each shaft is 110m long.
  • The water truck operator uses a switch on the outside of the building to activate the truckfill arm. This activates a flow switch that injects chlorine to disinfect the water.

  • The community has one water delivery truck with a 1,500 imp gal capacity.
