PPD sells its fuel in NWT communities for cash or on credit.
To apply for a PPD account:
- fill out a Credit Application Form (available from the PPD
Comptroller, 867-695-2413)
- include a Deposit - a personal cheque or money order
- send application and deposit to address on the Credit Application
form.
It takes 4 to 6 weeks to process a credit application.
DEPOSIT AMOUNT
- residential account $300 deposit
- commercial account $1,000 deposit
If your application is approved, then you can
start buying fuel on your account right away. PPD will invoice
you for your purchases once a month. You are required to pay the
invoice in full within 30 days.
If your application is denied, then you must purchase your fuel
with cash.
When you no longer need an account, notify PPD. We will cancel
your account on the date specified and refund your deposit. If
PPD has had to use all or a portion of your deposit to cover your
purchases of fuel, then only the remaining portion will be refunded.
