| Renovations to Deninu School
included improvements in order to separate the junior and
senior students and also to provide community access to the
gymnasium and library. |

| A Chipewyan language and cultural
classroom, science/art classroom, computer classroom, and
junior and senior student areas were added. Change rooms and
the administration area were reconfigured. Interior finishes
were upgraded, the exterior was painted, and new entry canopies
were provided. |

| For fire safety, the entire building
was provided with sprinklers. The mechanical and electrical
systems were also upgraded to current standards. |
