The assignment was to design and build 18 new two-bedroom row-housing units for students at Aurora College in Fort Smith. The prime sub-contractor carrying out most of the building work was Fort Smith Construction.
Each unit contains two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, a living and dining area, entrance and storage. A central coin-operated laundry is provided. Sod was used around the buildings to provide instant grass. The area between the sod and the undisturbed bush was hydro seeded, which came in very quickly, so there is a play area for the children. Picnic tables were added in one area.
