| This project converts the existing Princess Alexandra elementary school into a new middle school. A new library, computer classroom, and multi-purpose classroom are being added. The project also increases the number of homeroom classrooms from twelve to fourteen. | ||
| To create more flexible and open space, the project adds three "break-out" areas, five hallway skylights, and full-height glass walls in the sports and library areas. Washrooms and gym storage areas and change rooms are reconfigured. The stage can be converted to include music instruction by use of a movable partition. | ||
| The project also features new exterior and interior finishes as well as new heating and ventilation systems. | ||
