The new Regional Health and Social Services Centre replaces the old hospital in Inuvik. The 9,000 sq-metre centre includes a 25-bed acute care, emergency, lab, x-ray, space for day programs, medical clinics, and pharmacy. The 25-bed extended care area has its own entrance and includes a multi-purpose room and chapel. The centre also has regional offices and a transient centre.

This was a fast-tracked design/build project with extensive user consultation.
