Public Works and Services runs records centres in Inuvik, Fort Simpson, Fort Smith, and Yellowknife. The records centres store and retrieve records for government departments for as long as the records are needed. The records centres are operated by the PWS Regional Offices in cooperation with the Records Management Section.

Records Coordinators in each department manage all storage and retrieval activities, even in the regions. If you don't know the name of your Records Coordinator, send us an e-mail. Be sure to say what department you work for.
