Yellowknife
- The City of Yellowknife acquires its drinking water from the Yellowknife River. Great Slave Lake is also used occasionally.
- Water treatment system consists of a small system with three treated water wells measuring:
- Reservoir 1= 4479m3
- Reservoir 3= 2527m3
- Reservoir 4= 7227 m3
- Water is disinfected with gaseous chlorine and liquid fluoride is added.
- Treated water is trucked to Dettah.
- Truckfill stations are at pump house 2, pump house 4 and at the garage of the contractor.
